2. My opinion is based on my experience as a mechanical design engineer so I'm guessing I'm just slightly more knowledgeable than you are about manufacturing processes especially in regards to manipulating materials and testing strategies such as FEA. Maybe I should start my own hand made bike frame company who invests nothing in design and testing...Hell I didn’t realize dumb fucks like you would eat it up as long as it looks different (and by that I mean retarded) and the production volume is low (not because it is rare but because the manufacturer does not have the capability to produce high volume). I will just make sure to stamp the number 5 on every frame.
3. I'm the idiot? Let me point out that rather than defending your position on this bike after my first comment you went right to insulting me since you have no argument to support your love affair with this bike. You write like a 3rd grader and your insults are about as clever and hardcore as your periods. I'm sure you do work very hard and that’s terrific because with your intelligence I can hardly believe you can hold a job.
4. Do you want to come to my next monkey butt chaffing party?
1. When the fuck did I say anything critical about "straight tubing" or mention any other process like hydroforming? My argument is that there is virtually no development in this frame in comparison to a larger manufacturer that have R&D funding as well as the capability to do so and yet the pricetag on this poorly designed frame is outrageous. I made a point to mention that I can appreciate smaller companies who try to enter the market, but I think it is a little self-righteous to expect consumers to pay the price. It is simply the nature of the beast. Who gives a fuck how rare it is? It’s not a fuckin old coin dumbass it’s a shitty bike. Weakened hydroforming? Hmm, why do they use processes like that if they weaken the frame? Oh yea because it doesn’t weaken the frame. How did that figure that out? Well it might be because they tested the frame and found out where the most substantial stress occurs under load and decided to strengthen the frame in those areas so material could be reduced in less critical areas thus subtracting material and weight without sacrificing strength. You're right though, I will let Cannondale know that you said it is okay not to worry about it.
Yeah you're right this bike is just too hardcore, that’s exactly what I was trying to say. Did you design this piece of shit sh*t yourself or something? Doesn’t seem that you even understand the point I was trying to make. Didn’t know you were so sensitive. I changed my mind I want this bike now so I can be a badass, since downhill mt biking is the most hardcore thing in the world. Good luck with the sale, I think I will spend my money on something thats R&D was more extensive than a drawing on a napkin.
As far as the bleeding goes, what are you so upset about... you only bleed once a month and its natural so dont sweat it champ
Does everyone like these Brooklyn Machine Works bikes? I think their entire product line looks like poorly designed sh*t with f*cked up geometry. Why would I pay this much money for something that has so little development work? I get it, smaller company trying to build a quality product I can appreciate that. But unless this thing was designed on a 10,000 dollar 3D modeling platform with finite element analysis why in the f*ck would I pay high dollar just to be different? These bikes are underengineered and overpriced. I don't understand why anyone would want this junk. I think I'm going to make a frame jig and buy some tubing and TIG my own crap together and sell it.
